Welcome to the research group of Florian M. Wisser. Our main interests are the rational design of new organometallic complexes as well as functional porous materials such as metal-organic frameworks or porous polymers with controllable properties. We apply these materials as photo(thermal)catalysts for the transformation of non-activated molecules and strive for a better understanding of photo-activation processes in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis and of confinement effects in non-crystalline materials.
